Baby massage training course structure for indpendent practitioners

The baby massage training courses take place over four days.

There are two consecutive teaching days, followed by a break of at least three weeks.

During the break students carry out two case studies.
Then there will be two more consecutive days, including teaching practice. On the final day, students attend for a ninety minute assessment session with volunteer parents and babies, at the end of which they get one-to-one supportive feedback from the assessor.

In the following two months, students do four more case studies which they write up and submit.

When all work has been completed satisfactorily, a certificate validated by IPTI and by Embodt CThA is sent to the student and they are fully trained to teach parents how to massage their babies.

Continuing support will be available by phone or email.

Smiling baby being massaged
“The babies have become the most relaxed little beings on the planet. They really are open to massage and enjoy it immensely... the mums have practiced at home and said how much it enhanced their relationships with their babies. What more can we ask?”
